Emily Iverson - Children’s Director (Birth-Kindergarten)

Emily was born and raised in Spokane and has had the privilege of growing up at Fourth Memorial Church . Growing up in a Christian home, she was actively involved in youth group, where her faith grew in a meaningful way. A big influence on her heart for ministry was her mother, Melissa, who consistently encouraged her to serve and cultivated in her a love for children and the church.

Emily, through running start, was a part of the Early Childhood Education program at Spokane Falls Community College and graduated in 2020. After taking a few gap years, she is now furthering her education by pursuing a bachelor's degree in Youth and Family Ministry at Great Northern University, with plans to graduate in 2027. Her goal is to serve in church ministry long-term, helping kids and families grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Outside of school and ministry, Emily enjoys teaching line dancing, exploring new places, and spending time with her family—whether that’s game nights, road trips, or just being together. She feels most fulfilled when she’s connecting with others, sharing laughter, and watching kids experience the love of God in tangible way.
